Story time...

Renee Naudin had a show on Groove Radio on Sunday night. She was the first person I heard play "You're Not Alone" by Olive. I was so in love with the song that I called Renee immediately at the station, to find out everything I could about Olive (What label are they on? Where did you get your copy? et cetera...).

A few hours later, I'm on a long distance call to RCA in England, trying to get them to rush ship me all the available remixes of the song.

I received the CDs via FedEx on Tuesday. By the next day, I was giving Olive their first afternoon radio exposure on my second 5 O'Clock Disc Drive mix.

In my DJ set, I used the Tin Tin Out Mix. For the radio edit I made for Groove Radio, I decided to use the intro of the song from the Album Version, and then splice into the Tin Tin Out Mix.

Thanks to Renee for exposing me to the band. While many of the edits I did for Groove Radio were of music I was not exactly a fan of, I fucking loved this song, and this band.
