"Somebody"
(Royal Albert Hall Soundcheck - 2010)
WHAT I DID:
Cameraman / Editor / Sound
DESCRIPTION:
On February 17th, 2010, Depeche Mode played a special show at the Royal Albert Hall in London, in support of Teenage Cancer Trust. This was a special show for a few reasons. Not only was it for charity, not only did they have a live string section for a few of the songs, but Alan Wilder (who left the band in 1995) re-joined them on stage for the song "Somebody".
That night, fans went absolutely wild when Mr Wilder took the stage to join Martin for the song "Somebody". Hours before, Alan and Martin did a quick soundcheck of "Somebody". This is that soundcheck. I can't believe I managed to keep the camera that steady. I was very nervous. :)
