Audio Vault - Radio Recording

Origin:
A Saturday night in 1986. As this was a few month's after I was assaulted in high school and my knee was still recovering, I was home. As I flipped on the radio that night, I heard Pet Shop Boys being interviewed on KROQ.

Cut to me frantically trying to find a blank tape.

This is most of the interview. I cut songs and commercials, but left in the KROQ "Swedish Chris" Pet Shop Boys megamix.

The interview was conducted by Richard Blade, with Jed The Fish (RIP) joining in towards the end. After the interview, I left in the first break from the following show (Rodney Bingenheimer).

As I was not prepared, this was cobbled together from three different cassettes, with the logic that I would edit the pieces together later.

Almost 39 years later, I finally edited everything together.
