This is an old ass mix set I did with the following equipment:
• one CD player (no pitch control)
• one turntable (with pitch)
• an antique two track open reel tape deck (read that again - two tracks! All blends on the mix are done live)
• poor quality blank 1/4" open reel tape acquired from dumpster diving behind a recording studio (hence why the audio is a bit crap)
• a LOT of splicing
For being done on crude equipment, and me being only 22 at the time, it ain't that bad. :)
This is a straight pass from the original open reel. All razor edits are circa 1992. All blends are true to the time. In other words, there are a few flubs in the mix, so don't hate. ;)
