DESCRIPTION:
It has been raining in California. A lot.

If any of you follow my socials, you will know my apartment management company stripped the roof off of my little apartment last year, leaving it exposed for over a week. Then, it rained. To date, I've lost almost $25,000 in damages and storage facility fees.

Suffices to say, I am not fond of the rain anymore.

But I digress...

Playing around with making new vocal tracks (that you Peter Jackson!), I decided to try and see if I could isolate Karen Carpenter from a standard Carpenters CD.

Oh. my. GOD!

Now, Karen Carpenter is an angel. You have to treat her as such. You can't just throw her over any song. Luckily, while looking through instrumental tracks, I found "Skyfall" by Adele. Karen Carpenter with James Bond intensity? Hell yes!

Now, I know my mashups are for a rather specific audience. I get that many people don't like me crossing genres. But, if what I create makes *me* happy, that's good enough.

This mix made me happy. This mix almost made me like the rain again...kind of. *waves fist at shitty apartment management company*

It is currently Monday. It is currently raining. It's the perfect time to launch this new mashup.

Rainy days and Mondays always get me down...
