It has been a while, hasn't it?

A rather hectic work schedule has been keeping me from having mix fun lately, but when I saw that there was an instrumental mix of "Down With The King" about to hit, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have some fun.

I made some time.

It did not take too long to find a suitable acapella this time around. David's rhythmic delivery sat nicely on the Run DMC instrumental.

This mix also gave me the opportunity to use the other Soul Train performance that David Bowie did. His lip-syncing to the original track was not his best, so this video is "close enough for jazz". :)

Just in time for my 49th birthday (October 24th), I give you "Down With The Golden Years"...as I am approaching my own golden years...fast!
